Oscilloscope - Spectrum Analyzer - Signal Generator -XY Scope -Data Logger
PicoScope 3205 has a 50MHz bandwidths and 100MHz sampling rate and a single-shot sampling rate of 100 MS/s. Using Equivalent Time Sampling (ETS) for repetitive signals, the sampling rate is increased to 5 GS/s.
PicoScope PC oscilloscopes have the following advantages over traditional bench top instruments:
All digital oscilloscopes collect data into a waveform buffer, the bigger the buffer memory the longer the scope can collect data without reducing its sampling rate. PicoScope 3205 has an impressive 512 kB buffer. Once captured, PicoScope oscilloscope software allows you to zoom in on your signal at up to 2000 times magnification — allowing you to examine every last detail of the signal.

PicoScope 3205 is connected to the USB port on any modern laptop or desktop PC. The fast USB 2.0 (480 Mb/s) interface ensures a quick screen update rate, even when collecting large amounts of data, whie still retaining backward compatibility with PC's using USB 1.1
When powered directly by the USB bus the need for an external power supply in most applications is eliminated, making the PicoScope 3205 PC oscilloscope (USB Oscope) ideal for use both lab and field work.

The signal generators built into the PicoScope 3205 can output sine, square and triangle waves up to 1 MHz in frequency. A useful feature is the sweep function that can be combined with the spectrum analyzer peak hold function to quickly test the bandwidth response of filters and amplifiers.

* In normal operation the PicoScope 3205 is powered either from a USB port on your computer or from a powered hub. It is not possible to power this device from an un-powered USB hub. If both the PC and the device under test are referenced to the same ground (earth) then noise/offset problems may occur. This problem is only likely to occur when using a mains powered desktop PC while measuring DC coupled (referenced to ground) signals of a small amplitude. If this situation occurs a mains power adaptor (supplied) should be used to power the unit.
